Boadicea Perfume attend Ghana Independence Dinner at the exclusive Mayfair venue of Park Chinois

Boadicea the Victorious was very proud to sponsor the Ghana Independence Dinner held in March at the exclusive Mayfair venue of Park Chinois.

Guests from the worlds of fashion, theatre, music, and football enjoyed a sensational evening of fine food and compelling conversation to mark the 61^st anniversary of Ghana ending its status as a British colony.

Park Chinois is an iconic entertainment restaurant designed in 1930s Shanghai style and a regular hub for high profile individuals.

This event, hosted by Lux Afrique, a high-end multimedia platform for marketing and promoting luxury brands targeting audiences on the African Continent, proved hugely popular to the African business community-based in London.

Guests ranged from artists such as Lethal Bizzle, actor Hugh Quarshie, Premier League football manager Chris Hughton to Sky News presenter Claudia-Liz Amrahto as well as former NBA basketball player Pops Mensah-Bonsu.

Hit Rapper Fuse ODG spoke passionately and captivated the audience with his project to build a school in Ghana, and also to change the way Africa is represented across the mainstream media.

The dinner was followed by a live auction with items including a pair of Mohammed Ali’s boxing gloves, football boots donated by Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, as well as paintings by some of Ghana’s finest artists Sarah Owusu and Koby Martin.
