Boadicea the Victorious Perfume sponsors latest comedy blockbuster film!

First, there was Hollywood. Then there was Bollywood. Now the United Arab Emirates is establishing a booming and vibrant fresh centre for the film industry.

Producers and directors in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai are leading a revolution in the cinema creating movies for new audiences to show they can match the biggest worldwide blockbusters.

New films share all the glitz and glamour associated with the traditional red carpet premieres in Los Angeles or London, and it was into this sparkling atmosphere that Boadicea the Victorious CEO David Crisp recently travelled after we helped sponsor the production of one of the latest hits.

Edhay in Thailand is the newest madcap comedy starring hugely popular actor Ahmed Saleh, telling a hilarious story with lots of comedy, thrills and laughter about a relaxing vacation which goes wrong.

The eagerly awaited showing was held in the luxurious surroundings of the Emirates Palace hotel, and attended by many members of Abu Dhabi’s royal family, including HH Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohamed Al Nathan who met Mr Crisp at the reception later.

As one of the main supporters of the film, Boadicea the Victorious received on-screen credits both before and after it began. We were also proud to be presented with an award by Mr Salah in recognition of our support for the film and delighted to see such a huge and prestigious audience in the giant hall where it was shown.

Afterwards, we took the opportunity to showcase the Boadicea the Victorious range to the assembled dignitaries in the lavish hospitality areas of the Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi’s most luxurious five-star hotel.
