Boadicea the Victorious returns as lead sponsor to this year's Sutton Tennis and Squash Club British Tour
We’re proud at Boadicea the Victorious of how our luxury perfumes have grown into a global brand – but we are just as proud that we still serve the communities in which we are based.
So we are pleased to announce that we will again be supporting Sutton Tennis and Squash club when they stage this year’s British Tour event which runs from August 12th to 18th.
The competition, one of only three “Premier Status” events in the Lawn Tennis Association’s calendar, has attracted top home based players in the past including Davis Cup star Liam Broady, and the doubles pairing of Jay Clark and Marcus Willis who knocked out the number one seeds at Wimbledon in 2017.
However, that’s not the only reason we are so keen to be the lead sponsor. The event is also a key fund raiser for the Royal Marsden Hospital which does ground breaking work in both the treatment of cancer, and research into potential cures.
Founded in 1923, the club is one of the oldest in the UK and is open to members from all backgrounds, promoting chances for local juniors to get into the sport.
Boadicea the Victorious CEO David Crisp said: “We are delighted to continue our support of this tournament and the tennis club as a whole. “As a business we take very seriously our role in the communities where we operate and are happy to support local initiatives where we can.
“The links to the Royal Marsden and the fund raising which goes on throughout the week make this a particularly appropriate event for us to support.” Steve Tiddy, chairman of the Tournament Committee, added: “We are delighted that Boadicea the Victorious is our lead sponsor. The firm has supported Sutton Tennis and Squash Club for several years and is a perfect fit for us.”
