Complex 2020: Boadicea the Victorious Signature Scent for Dubai Expo 2020

Against the desert skyline of Dubai, a massive construction project is slowly emerging which will evolve into a breathtaking site for the world’s next great exhibition.

Dubai Expo 2020 will be the next chapter of a story that stretches back some 169 years to when the first World Expo – originally titled the Great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of All Nations – was first held at London’s glittering Crystal Palace in 1851.

That displayed around 100,000 objects showcasing the inventions from the industrial revolution, and since then World Expos have been held across the planet, sharing knowledge, expertise, and ideas.

Some of the amazing inventions first unveiled at an expo include the telegraph in London in 1851, the typewriter in Philadephia in 1876, the diesel engine in Paris in 1900, and the colour television in New York in 1964.

Dubai’s theme will be “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future,” and we are very excited to have begun plans for Boadicea the Victorious to share in a small part of what will be an awesome event.

It was in June that we unveiled our new fragrance Compex 2020, a pure perfume version of Complex which as an eau de perfume has always been one of our best sellers. It has immediately enjoyed hugely successful sales, but then our customers have always loved the teasing top notes of sage and basil that dissolve into a middle of violet and incense before melting into a leather and musk oud base.

Suggestive, sexy, and confident, it is a fragrance that stands out from the crowd.  So what better scent to build our involvement in Dubai 2020 around?

Exact plans must remain confidential at this stage, but Complex 2020 will be a signature scent for Dubai Expo 2020.
